Annie

This charming musical based on the comic strip character Little Orphan Annie features many memorable songs and pleasant dance numbers, to which the versatile Albert Finney, as Daddy Warbucks; the leggy Ann Reinking, as Grace Farrell; and Aileen Quinn, an adorable, near-perfect Annie, tap, shuffle, waltz, glide, and leap for all they're worth. A great supporting cast includes Carol Burnett spoofing the role of the heartless Miss Hannigan, overseer of a group of orphan girls, and Geoffrey Holder as Punjab, Warbucks' magician servant who finds no feat impossible.
