Andy Hardy Comes Home: Review

Rooney, now a West Coast lawyer working for an aviation firm, returns to his hometown of Carvel with family in tow in order to explore the possibilities of setting up a new aircraft factory. He runs into trouble with a greedy land-owner who tries to manipulate the townspeople against Rooney, but the simple folk soon sway back in support of him. After a 12-year absence from the Hardy series, Rooney returned to the stock MGM vehicle with this film. This is an entertaining and good-natured picture, as were the previous tales of Andy's teen years. leave a comment
