Odd and largely unsuccessful attempt to update Shakespeare's "Julius Caesar" in a business setting. Longden is chairman of the board for a large company. Wilmer and other directors are jealous of his success and, with the help of a somewhat reluctant Wooland, manage to vote Longden out of
power. This sets off a fatal heart attack in the man; his old friend "Saville" later takes over as board chairman. He gets rid of the traitorous members, and Wooland ends up killing himself. Though ambitious in scope, the film is hampered by its pipsqueak budget. The idea isn't well handled,
resulting in a ludicrous picture.
