An Enemy Of The People

McQueen is the town doctor who discovers that waste from the tannery is contaminating the water in the recently opened hot springs the town hopes will bring in tourist revenue. He ignores the advice of his brother (Durning), the mayor, to keep his findings to himself; instead, he publicizes them and ends up an outcast, his practice gone and his family splintered. McQueen is totally miscast, and in the scenes with Durning was hopelessly shown up. McQueen was also executive producer.
