TV talk show host Whitman, in a frenzied fight with his bitchy wife, Parker, pushes her out the window of their penthouse apartment. Trying to palm it off as a suicide, Whitman is betrayed by his old flame, Leigh (as Cherry McMahon!). The film, with a strong beginning intensified by Parker's powerful portrayal of the wife, deteriorates into a cynical look at 1960s society. The song "A Time for Love" was nominated for an Oscar. leave a comment
