Stone plays a retired cowpuncher with an eccentric family. Burke is his sister-in-law, who fixes up her daughter (Sothern) with Lederer, a handsome count. At first Stone doesn't care for the idea of a fancy foreigner in the family, but when he discovers that Lederer can ride wild horses and spit tobacco with the best of them, Stone quickly changes his mind, much to the surprise of the whole family.
