This sex-on-the-brain fright flick seems to have been improvised on the spot by MTV videographers with some time on their hands. While college boy Frankie (Trevor Lissauer) pines for his girlfriend DeeDee (Daisy Torme), his chum Bogie (Danny Hitt) wants to whoop it up with beach babes. Frankie's parents go out of town, giving him strict orders not to party in their absence, but Bogie proves a bad influence. Frankie and Bogie meet a way-cool dude named Moondoggie (Johnny Venokur), and suddenly Frankie finds himself stuck with an unwanted houseguest. Moondoggie quickly takes over the house, and while Frankie doesn't complain about Moondoggie playing host to his bodacious companions Sulka (Carmen Electra) and Katrina (Deborah Xavier), he balks at housing Moondoggie's cretinous cook, Bruno (Sydney Lassick). Then the weird stuff starts: First, neighborhood pets disappear, then Moondoggie's nocturnal habits arouse Frankie's suspicions. Spotting a coffin bedroom set in Moondoggie's quarters, Frankie deduces that Moondoggie is a bloodsucker and appeals to the Big Kahuna (Adam West, of the '60s TV show Batman), who comes from a long line of vampire hunters. But Bogie pooh-poohs Frankie's concerns and continues his hero worship of Moondoggie, even helping to throw a block party that gives Moondoggie the perfect opportunity to seduce DeeDee. Can Frankie stop DeeDee from becoming Mrs. Dracula and rid his parents' home of batty intruders before they return? Part calendar-girl fantasy, part scary-movie spoof, this inconsequential piffle is as formless as a vampire theme party hosted by pot-heads, but may satisfy the appetites of horny teenage boys with a fondness for retro music and beach blanket movies. leave a comment --Robert Pardi
