In this uninspired action film set on the Arizona-Mexico border, Lucarelli is an ex-Los Angeles cop visiting his former partner (Parker). Lucarelli witnesses the murder of a young Mexican girl by a white slaver who kidnaps lissome illegals and sells them. When Lucarelli tries to report the
crime to sheriff Brimley, he is stunned to see that the killer, McRaney, is one of the sheriff's key deputies. AMERICAN JUSTICE never transcends the action genre by bringing any significant meaning to its situation or characters. McRaney and Parker had teamed for years on the hit TV show "Simon
and Simon," but they don't click here.
