Williams is a housewife from Ohio who escapes in trashy romance novels about a woman named Rebecca Ryan. When the publishers of the books hold a contest to see who can write the best outline for one of the novels, she wins a trip to Paris to meet the author of the series. There a blow to the head disorients Williams, and she becomes convinced that she is Rebecca Ryan. With Conti, the son of the author, she becomes involved in some real-life intrigue. This shallow effort provides little beyond pretty scenery. leave a comment
