Even if you loved the 1985 remake of KING SOLOMON'S MINES, you're not likely to enjoy this lame adventure tale which again pairs Richard Chamberlain and Sharon Stone. This time Quatermain (Chamberlain) and Jesse Huston (Stone) postpone their trip back to the United States and their marital vows in order to search through the jungle for Quatermain's brother and the fabled Lost City of Gold. They barely escape death on a number of occasions along the way; the only ones who don't escape are the dispensable natives.
