ALIENS
starstarstarstar
James Cameron's follow-up to the terrifying original is a different beast entirely: It's really a big, loud war movie souped up with high-tech weaponry and a particularly nasty enemy. But it also features Sigourney Weaver in a much fuller incarnation of Ripley, who returns to the original planet of the aliens to help rescue the survivors of a doomed colony.
