Alien Thunder

Mountie Sutherland sets out across 1890s Saskatchewan wilderness to capture Chief Dan George, accused of stealing a cow and possibly murdering a Mountie. Another variation of Les Miserables that has Sutherland spending more than a year tracking down the cunning Indian. Exquisitely photographed with a fine cast, the film is still a bit slow and not very compelling.
