An excellent low-budget horror film from director Alfred Sole, whose impressive grasp of filmmaking technique and eye for the grotesque keeps the viewer on edge throughout the movie. Set in Paterson, New Jersey, in the early 1960s, the film focuses on a series of bizarre and horrible murders committed in and around the local Catholic church.
