This weak Benny comedy understandably flopped at the box-office. He plays a gambler who's in debt and being chased by the I.R.S. His wife Merkel leaves, but Benny sets out to win her back. He gives the slip to the revenue agents, and cons advertisers into putting up money for a hot-air balloon in order to fly to Merkel in Palm Springs. Benny gets Healy to go with him.
