Not to be confused with the stage biography of the great "Fats" Waller, this frothy musical has a likable cast and a gossamer-thin story. Piper Laurie plays Sarah Hatfield, a chorus girl who snags a wealthy businessman (Rory Calhoun), then decides to change her style and become snooty because she thinks that's what he wants in a wife.
