Agostino

A boy, Colombo, runs away from his widowed mother when she begins to devote herself to a new paramour. Falling in with a rough gang, the boy learns about life in some very harsh ways. An intelligent yet unemotional attempt to analyze the sadness and loneliness of a young boy's life. The striking Thulin is excellent as the mother, and Colombo is very natural and appealing as the outcast boy.
