One of John Huston's best-loved films has just about everything: adventure, humor, spectacular photography and, of course, Katharine Hepburn and Humphrey Bogart. Bogie plays the hard-drinking owner of a battered little steamer that runs supplies to African villages on the eve of WWI. It's on one of these trips that he meets Hepburn, a prudish spinster who's left stranded after a bloody German attack. When Bogart offers her a lift out of the jungle, the battle really begins.
