Ostentatious and contrived, this production is a mishmash of sexual rationales for one promiscuous affair after another: Lindfors is a fading model with a young lover she knows to be her last; McCarthy and Grant are unhappily wed neurotics. All of them share their mundane and morose tales
with Sands. Only the photography of the New York landscape is worth watching in this pretentious and artificial film which was once touted as a sophisticated view of sex.
