Through the narration of a writer, the viewer sees a wealthy, worldly woman, Oberon, attempt to reform a compulsive gambler, offering her love and fortune to prevent his habit from destroying him. The effort fails miserably, as does this poor sudser, although the background of the romantic Riviera and its fabulous casino provides some exotic interest. leave a comment
