The third film in Warners' "Torchy Blane" series; Farrell plays the peppery female reporter about to marry MacLane when a police call interrupts the wedding. The call comes after the death of an actor who had put in a prophetic fake homicide alarm to promote his career. Farrell then goes
on the hunt for the killers, irritating the cops. After some quick-paced adventures, she nabs the culprits. Her marriage, naturally, is postponed until the next film. A good action-filled programmer.
