THE ADVENTURES OF BULLWHIP GRIFFIN is a happy Disney effort in which 14-year-old Jack Flagg (Bryan Russell) heads for California and the Gold Rush after the death of his grandfather in Boston in 1847. The grandfather's death has left orphan Jack and his sister, Arabella (Suzanne Pleshette), penniless, so he plans to hit it big out west.
