Above average B&L vehicle has the boys wheeling and dealing in filmdom as inept agents attempting to get a young singer, Stanton, the lead part in a musical. Their efforts lead to romps through studio sets, disruption of on-going productions, and a wild roller coaster ride finale. Costello's
brief insomnia attack is a priceless bit of mirth, as is the boys' "earplug" routine (where Costello is wearing plugs and Abbott slaps him about for not listening), a bit that was later included in THAT'S ENTERTAINMENT, PART TWO. Some Hollywood personalities are thrown in for flavor and not a few
laughs. B&L end this movie spoof as big-time agents in posh offices, as incompeten...
