About to accompany Dr. Zoomer (Katch) to America from Egypt where they have been stranded, Bud and Lou find the archeologist murdered by cultists; a medallion falls into their hands and leads them to an ancient crypt where the mummy waits to terrorize them. The medallion is slipped into a hamburger which Lou eats and there is a great deal of fussing over his insides to locate the treasure. A lame chuckle or two is all this cheaply produced film provides. This was the last film made by the pair for Universal. Costello, who had been suffering from rheumatic fever, appears thin and wan in the film. leave a comment
