A dull, uninspired musical, the plot has bashful Young courting Shore, his farm neighbor. The romance is uprooted when city folks Merrill and Jergens buy out Shore's farm for $20,000, believing it to contain oil deposits. Shore departs for the bright lights, which prompts Young to pursue her, wooing her back to the farm while outwitting the slickers.
