Sensitive story of romance between a black youth and a Puerto Rican girl. As they struggle to make their feelings known to each other, they also must face the harsh realities of life in the ghetto. Comic relief is supplied by an awkward Mr. Cool type, uproariously played by Leon Pinkney.
