A Woman's Devotion

Trevor Stevenson (Meeker), a WW II veteran and artist, is still mentally disturbed from his war experiences. While on his honeymoon with Stella (Rule) in Acapulco, Meeker meets a beautiful Mexican model and asks her to pose for some sketches. The next day the woman is found murdered. Her boy friend, an ex-prize fighter, discovers the sketches and decides to blackmail Meeker. Shortly thereafter the body of a Mexican maid is found, and when it is learned that she acted as the go-between for Meeker and the blackmailer, the police decide to arrest the American for both murders--an action that threatens to push Meeker's delicate mental state over the edge.
