A Pistol For Ringo

This better-than-average spaghetti epic stars Gemma as a drifter helping a small Texas family whose ranch has been invaded by a gang of Mexican bandits. Posing as one of the gang, Gemma saves the family and disposes of the bandits. Director Tessari, who cowrote (uncredited) Sergio Leone's A FISTFUL OF DOLLARS, handles the film with a sure style and holds the violence characteristic of the genre to a minimum, while borrowing freely from Howard Hawks and John Ford.
