A Night At Earl Carroll's

A story was developed to show off talent at Earl Carroll's famous Hollywood club, and even more to show the showgirls. It seems as if most of the picture is devoted to their endless parades across stage. The story centers around a gangster kidnaping several of the club's main attractions on the night the mayor of Hollywood (none ever existed) is planning a party for visiting mayors. The gangster and the mayor are feuding, and this is the gangster's way of getting even. But the show must go on, so the remaining performers enlist some extra help and put on a whale of a show.
