A Cry In The Night

A dark melodrama about a psychotic mama's boy who abducts the young Wood. Burr, in his perfected killer role as the kidnaper, spies on Wood as she steams the windows with her beau. He knocks the boy friend out and pulls Wood away from their Lover's Loop car. Holed up in an abandoned brickyard, Wood becomes increasingly distraught after she discovers a dead puppy under Burr's bed. O'Brien, as her father and the tough police captain, teams up with Donlevy to track the captor. When they finally discover his hiding place, they slap him around until he pitifully begs for his mama.
