Director Deray is almost reminiscent of Hitchcock in this play about a man, accused of a crime he didn't commit, who must get from point A to point B in order to prove his innocence. In doing so, he meets a woman who believes him to be guilty. He eventually convinces her that he is
innocent, and they get to point B only to learn that the man who could clear him of the charge is, in fact, the rotter behind the plot. If that all sounds familiar, it should. It's the story for about seven Hitchcock pictures--and almost all there is to this one. Ventura jumps ship in Barcelona
