Zachary Levi has squeaked out a role in the Chipmunks sequel.
The Chuck star will try to hold his own against Alvin, Simon and Theodore in Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Levi will play the cousin of Jason Lee's character from the first film. Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler and Jesse McCartney will again provide voices for the computer-generated rodents, while the Chipmunks will meet the Chipettes — Brittany, Jeanette and Eleanor.
The first Chipmunks flick, 2007's Alvin and the Chipmunks, pulled in almost $360 million worldwide.
