I Can Do Bad All By Myself
Tyler Perry's latest movie, I Can Do Bad All By Myself, grossed $24 million to take the top spot at the weekend box office, according to Hollywood.com.

Of the eight films Perry has made in the past five years, five have debuted at No. 1. I Can Do Bad is Perry's third largest opening after Madea Goes to Jail ($41 million) and Madea's Family Reunion ($30 million).
The post-apocalyptic animated film 9 took second place with $10.9 million, and Quentin Tarantino's Inglourious Basterds came in third after with $6.5 million. (The film has now earned a total of $104.3 million.)
Rounding out the top 5 was Sandra Bullock's All About Steve ($5.8 million) and 3-D horror flick The Final Destination ($5.5 million).
New releases Sorority Row and Whiteout didn't fair as well for their opening weekend, taking in only $5.3 million and $5.1 million, respectively.
