Clash of the Titans ruled the box office, taking in $61.4 million to become the film with the biggest Easter weekend opening ever.

Box Office Mojo's estimates show that the action-packed remake easily trumped the previous record held by Scary Movie 4, which opened to $40.2 million in 2006. Titans' total, including Thursday midnight showings, is $64.1 million.
