Moviegoers got Obsessed over the weekend: The Fatal Attraction-esque thriller, starring Beyonce and Ali Larter, scared up $28.5 million to secure the top spot.

Dropping to second place was Zac Efron's 17 Again, earning $11.6 million to edge out Fighting, which debuted with $11.4 million. 17 Again now sits at under $40 million after 10 days in release.

The weekend's other two new releases, The Soloist and Disney's documentary, Earth, opened in fourth ($9.7 million) and fifth ($8.55 million), respectively.

Rounding out the top 10 were: Monsters vs. Aliens (No. 6, $8.52 million), State of Play (No. 7, $6.8 million), Hannah Montana: The Movie (No. 8, $6.3 million), Fast & Furious (No. 9, $6 million) and Crank: High Voltage (No. 10, $2.4 million).
