Is Michael Cera Finally On Board for Arrested Development Film?

Michael Cera

Break out the frozen bananas! The final piece to the Arrested Development puzzle has been put into place.

Michael Cera has reportedly agreed to sign on to the film project after being the only cast holdout for several weeks, according to attorney Bob Loblaw (just kidding! E! Online told us). The rest of the cast — Jason Bateman, Portia de Rossi, Will Arnett, Tony Hale, Jessica Walter, Jeffrey Tambor and David Cross — have already signed on, a source close to the film's negotiations said.

The movie adaptation of the critically acclaimed-and-audience-deprived Fox series, which may hit theaters as early as this fall, will reportedly be written by series creator Mitchell Hurwitz and directed by Ron Howard (who narrated the TV show).
