My, My! Mamma Mia! Trumps Titanic's UK Record

Mamma Mia!

It took ABBA to sink a Titanic record — or at least a movie with ABBA tunes.

Mamma Mia! has officially surpassed the original Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio starrer as the highest grossing film of all time at the U.K. box office, Variety reports.

The pop-tastic musical has raked in $105.3 million to date (it's currently in its 23rd week of release), edging out Titanic's treasure chest of $105.2 million from a decade ago.

Buoying the Meryl Streep-led and Golden Globe-nominated flick to record success was the sing-a-long release of the movie in August.

But cry not, Titanic fans — the 11-time Oscar-winning film's $1.8 billion overall haul will never go down.
