Little Fockers Edges Out True Grit Again at Box Office

Little Fockers led the New Year's box office, beating Oscar hopeful True Grit for the second week in a row.
Little Fockers, the second sequel to the 2000 film Meet the Parents and starring Ben Stiller, Robert De Niro, Barbra Streisand and Dustin Hoffman, pulled in $26.3 million. The Coen Brothers' True Grit remake, starring Jeff Bridges and Matt Damon, followed with $24.5 million.

Tron: Legacy, which also stars Bridges, stayed in third place with $18.3 million, bringing its domestic total to $130.8 million after three weeks. Yogi Bear followed with $13 million.
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader fell to fifth place with $10.5 million.
Rounding out the top 10: Tangled (No. 6, $10 million); The Fighter (No. 7, $10 million); Gulliver's Travels (No. 8, $9.1 million); Black Swan (No. 9, $8.5 million); and The King's Speech (No. 10, $7.65 million).
