Jennifer Lopez Moves on to Plan B

Jennifer Lopez
Jennifer Lopez is looking to get back into the romantic comedy game.
The singer/actress has signed on to star in CBS Films' Plan B, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film, written by Kate Angelo, follows a single woman who conceives twins through her backup plan of artificial insemination, only to meet the man of her dreams on the very same day.
Though no male lead or director has yet to be attached to the project, production is scheduled to begin in the spring. CBS Films' Amy Baer said the studio chose Lopez because of her strength in the genre, but also because Lopez could use giving birth to twins of her own recently to add dimension to the role.
Lopez has starred in Maid in Manhattan and Monster-in-Law, but took a break from acting to focus on her music career and her children. She will return to the big screen in December 2009 in the heist picture The Governess.
