Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince
Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince will enchant moviegoers sooner than expected.
The sixth installment in the wizardly franchise will open on Wednesday, July 15, two days earlier than its previous date, said Warner Bros.
"Every day the kids are out of school in summer is just like an extra Saturday," Dan Fellman, Warner Bros.' head of distribution, said of the midweek debut.
This is the second time the film's release date has been switched, but at least this is good news. Prince was originally targeted for a November 2008 release before getting an eight-month delay.
