6.5 Special

Okay teeny-bopper film based on a popular BBC television show of the day. Two kids want to make it big in the music business, so they head for London. They manage to get an audition with the "6.5 Special" producer and, naturally, they make the grade. This leads to a television debut with some British pop stars (in those oh-so-innocent pre-Beatles days) playing themselves. Lots of forgettable music and plenty of screaming teenies make this a film definitely rooted in its time.
