Based on a story by Elmore Leonard, this gripping, landmark western redefined what the genre was capable of doing. Van Heflin turns in one his finest performances as a struggling rancher who agrees to help deliver notorious outlaw Glenn Ford to the prison in Yuma, Arizona.
