A wayward little comedy that attempts to satirize modern civilization and the hedonism it appears to promote. Abbott is a citizen of ancient Rome who is dropped into the Hollywood of the 1960s and learns that it is no place for the uninitiated. He is exploited on a popular television show about culture, turned into an excuse for a Roman marketing fad, and finally seduced by a hip girl from a TV commercial. Disk jockey Kasem makes an appearance. leave a comment
