Millionaire Howard hires diamond merchant Grodin to rob the vault of a diamond cartel run by Gielgud. The vault is guarded by an elaborate security system headed by Vaughan. Grodin enlists Bergen, his girlfriend, and Mason, a disgruntled employee, to help in the heist, which is effected by running a vacuum hose into the vault to suck out the gems. Back at Howard's estate, the millionaire sics his henchmen on the robbers in order to keep haul for himself. After a long chase over the estate, the robbers manage to escape, thanks to Cherry, Howard's lady companion, who is physically attracted to Bergen.
